About the Position

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience in caring for medical/surgical adult inpatients including orthopedics, neuro-surgical and trauma patients. Description: Provide care to medical/surgical adult inpatients, including orthopedic and neuro-surgical patients. Priorities include zero harm, patient safety, and quality care. Enhance the patient experience through effective pain management and proactive rounding. Conduct bedside hand-offs to ensure continuous patient care. Work in a 24-bed unit with surveillance and telemetry monitoring. Care for non-acute stroke and trauma patients in a level 1 age-friendly environment. Demonstrate commitment to patient-centered care and safety practices.
