Patent Attorney / Patent Agent (Chemical, Mechanical/EE, or Biotech) | Boutique IP Law Firm Ready to elevate your patent career with competitive compensation ($150K–$300K+), lucrative billable bonuses, and a generous profit-sharing plan in Alexandria, VA? The Role Manage and execute an immediate patent prosecution docket covering high-impact innovations (materials, tech, or biotech). Draft and prosecute patent applications before the USPTO for a sophisticated client base. Work alongside a dynamic team in a hybrid setup (Mon–Wed in-office) featuring riverfront office views and free parking. The Requirements Active USPTO registration as a Patent Attorney or Patent Agent/Practitioner. 1+ years of hands-on patent drafting and prosecution experience (ready to manage a docket day one). Relevant degree in Chemistry/ChemE, Mechanical/Electrical/Software Engineering, or Biotech/Biochem. Active VA Bar license or eligibility to waive in (required for Attorney roles only).
