Job Responsibilities
Supply Manager II The Department of Administration's Division of State Agencies Support Services is seeking a Supply Manager II to join the team! This position works within the State Surplus Property Program that promotes and facilitates the sustainable reuse of personal surplus property to state and local governments, qualifying non-profit entities and the public. In this role you will manage all aspects of the Federal Surplus Property program in order to provide Federal Surplus property to all eligible agencies. This position is onsite in Columbia, SC. Responsibilities of the Supply Manager II:
A high school diploma and work experience directly related to the area of employment to include supervisory work experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for work experience. Additional Requirements:

In this role you will manage all aspects of the Federal Surplus Property program in order to provide Federal Surplus property to all eligible agencies. This position is onsite in Columbia, SC. Responsibilities of the Supply Manager II:
- Manage all aspects of the Federal Surplus property program to include; receiving, processing, displaying and selling Federal Surplus property in accordance with all applicable Federal and State regulations and policies.
- Audit all Federal issue documents for accuracy. Coordinate with Inventory Control to perform and verify monthly inventory spot checks.
- Plan and implement donee appreciation lunches in yearly plans.
- Manage the Federal Property screening to include, on-site and online screening for all military bases, VA Hospitals and other Federal Agencies to screen and procure property on want list or requested by donee's. Coordinate and manage paperwork for logistics with pickup dates.
- Manage staffing of all on-site and off-site auctions and projects to ensure adequate coverage in work areas.
- Manage and process scrap metal inventory from state agencies.
- Lead and support staff through coaching, training, and performance development. Streamline workflows while implementing management policies and organizational initiatives. Foster a positive, team focused environment.

- Strong knowledge in property screening, storage, maintenance and marketing of materials and equipment.
