Surgical Technologist

Job Duties: Common Duties and Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms for surgery by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures Scrub in and assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, sutures, and supplies Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures to ensure accuracy Prepare and position patients for surgery Assist with draping patients and preparing surgical sites Operate sterilization equipment and ensure proper handling of instruments Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical team during procedures Handle specimens according to facility policy Clean and restock operating rooms after procedures Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning properly Follow infection control, safety, and hospital policies and procedures Document surgical case information as required Requirements: Technical Diploma from a Surgical Technologist accredited program. Certified Surgical Tech (CST) certification is required Driver's License Eligibility for Surgical Technologist Certification Benefits: Medical.
