As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:Deep Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning in resident rooms, common spaces, offices, and specialized areasGeneral Upkeep: Carry out regular tasks such as mopping, dusting, polishing, and buffing surfacesRestroom Care: Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish suppliesWaste Handling: Remove trash, dispose of recyclables, and manage infectious waste appropriatelyRoom Preparation: Rearrange, sanitize, and organize resident rooms before occupationSafety Support: Maintain safe conditions, report hazards, and use protective equipment when requiredInterested in learning more? Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.Required Experience, Training & Eligibility:You must be able to perform essential job functions.Preferred Qualifications (not required):Willing to work in Spring City, Chester County, Pennsylvania.Willing to work 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with rotating days and weekends to be determined.Work experience as a custodian, janitor, or cleaning person. This experience may include cleaning restrooms; cleaning resident rooms, offices, or public areas; and performing tasks such as mopping, scrubbing, dusting, sweeping, or buffing.Work experience in an assisted living facility, nursing home, or hospitalWork experience interacting with patients or residents while cleaning in-patient or resident rooms or in a dining room settingWork experience cleaning bodily fluids and disposing infectious waste in proper storage areasLegal Requirements:A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
