Product Marketing Manager/GTM Owner (Cloud Native)

About the role

Percona is hiring a Product Marketing Manager/ Go-To-Market (GTM) Owner to lead and execute go-to-market strategies for our Cloud Native product line: PostgreSQL , MySQL , and MongoDB Kubernetes Operators . You will own positioning, messaging, launches, sales enablement, and community/event strategy for this product line, working closely with engineering, sales, partnerships, and revenue operations.

This is an individual contributor role with a high degree of ownership. You will be the dedicated marketing lead for Cloud Native and the primary point of contact for turning product and partnership work into market-facing content and campaigns.

What you'll do

• Develop positioning and messaging that clearly connects Percona's Kubernetes software with its Support and Services offerings, collaborating closely with Product, Sales, and Engineering teams.

• Own go-to-market strategy and launch execution for new releases, features, and service offerings across the portfolio.

• Create and maintain GTM assets, including web pages, datasheets, case studies, white papers, and sales enablement materials.

• Engage with the open-source community, partners, and customers to strengthen Percona's Kubernetes market presence, generate customer insights, and drive service adoption.

• Build customer evidence through interviews, Jobs-to-be-Done research, case studies, testimonials, and other proof points.

• Influence product strategy and roadmap by bringing together customer feedback, market insights, and competitive analysis.

• Optimize marketing effectiveness through audience segmentation, campaign performance analysis, and data-driven recommendations.

• Partner with Digital Marketing to maximize the impact of content, SEO, PPC, email, social media, and other demand generation channels.

What you'll bring

• Technical background or familiarity with Database management or the Kubernetes software market is a plus.

• 2+ years of experience in go-to-market, product marketing, or solution-focused roles.

• Product Marketing Alliance or Pragmatic (or any other PMM) certification is a plus.

• Solid understanding of customer buying journeys and decision-making processes.

• Strong data analysis skills to drive segmentation and performance tracking for demand generation.

• Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation abilities.

• Proven experience aligning messaging and value propositions with customer and sales needs, including communication with prospects, partners, and industry analysts.

• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

• A data-driven mindset. You form a view, test it, and adjust based on what you learn.
