The general pay scale for this position at MOH is $57,841.71–$88,987.25 per year. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to prior work experience, education, job/position responsibilities, location, work performance, etc. SCOPE: Under general supervision, coordinates the month‑end closure for assigned oncology practices including financial reporting. Performs general accounting functions and prepares reports as required. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Responsibilities Maintains general ledger, including preparing financial schedules and journal entries. Maintains rent and straight‑line schedules along with leases. Processes monthly close of all practices and management companies in an accurate and timely manner. Ensures accruals are appropriately made each month. Reviews G/L coding on invoices before checks are released to ensure accurate coding. Works with Controller and management to obtain all necessary information and explanations. Ensures compliance with Management Services Agreements for all practices. Ensures accurate accounting for new practices including opening balance sheet and subsequent adjustments to B/S and MSA. Ensures assigned balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly and supported by valid detail. Assists in preparing monthly reporting packages for all practices for accuracy, reasonableness and completeness. Ensures timely submission of assigned reporting packages to Controller for review and responds to Controller inquiries in a timely manner. Meets corporate reporting deadlines. Provides various practice specific reporting as requested by Controller. Ensures accuracy and completeness of fixed assets records including depreciation. Assists in the annual budgeting process for all practices. Maintains working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to assigned responsibilities. Maintains confidentiality of all information related to patients, medical staff, finances and cost‑effective health care delivery issues. May oversee functions of Staff Accountants or Accounting Specialists/support staff. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance or related business curriculum. Minimum two to five years of fiscal management experience. Prior health care experience required; practice management experience preferred. CPA preferred.
