The Quality Control Inspector III serves as a technical authority for inspection of complex and high‑risk aerospace hardware. Inspectors at this level mentor junior inspectors and provide leadership within their qualified inspection environments. Tasks and responsibilities expected for this role include those captured by lower role specific levels. This role involves working closely with and at times leading engineers, production technicians, and operations teams to support multiple programs and value streams. Key Responsibilities Inspect high‑complexity and high‑risk hardware within advanced qualification areas, including: Avionics: High‑density wire harnesses, flight‑critical PCBAs, and complex electrical assemblies Mechanical / Structures: Tight‑tolerance machined parts, composite structures, and critical additive components Lead and support first article inspections (FAIs) Interpret complex GD&T and critical characteristics Mentor and train Inspector I–II personnel Review inspection documentation for completeness and accuracy Support MRB, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Identify systemic quality risks and improvement opportunities Qualifications 4+ years aerospace inspection experience Strong GD&T proficiency Experience supporting FAIs, MRB, and audits Recognized as a technical resource within qualified inspection environments Pay range for this role: $33.20 – $38.50 USD What's in it for you Benefits Competitive total compensation package Comprehensive benefit package options include medical, dental, vision, life, and more. 401k with company match 4 weeks of paid time off each year 12 annual company holidays Why Join Zone 5 Technologies?
