Meade, Maryland Job Description CSG is searching for an Expert Systems Administrator to join an effort supporting Enclave and Enterprise Directory Services. The role focuses on the development and sustainment of Directory and Security services for both on‑premises and cloud environments. The responsibilities include: Implement emerging technologies, cloud integration, Active Directory and Identity consolidation, and adopt cloud services from providers such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon, IBM, Google, and Oracle. Implement new tools to enable government monitoring of enterprise health and stability. Provide customized on‑site, off‑site, and remote IT support, maintenance, and solutions for enclave customers and other agencies. Manage the transition of CNO/CSD and other Enclaves to Corporate Support (CEUS) or DES management. Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, managing infrastructure and related processes. Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk), Tier 2, and Tier 3 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution. Support the dispatch system and hardware, maintaining involvement in resolution processes. Configure and manage UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems; install, troubleshoot, and maintain OS and network components. Perform account management, vulnerability scans, and apply security patches. Maintain compliance with system security controls and ICAM policy. Optimize system operations, resource utilization, and perform capacity analysis and planning. Communicate and coordinate with the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and Information System Owner (ISO) for change and configuration management. Support ISO by completing required milestones of Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) and coordinate status with ISSO. Apply knowledge of mission islands, Trusted Thin Client, and enhanced VDI. Support the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware. Analyze and resolve complex problems with server hardware, applications, and software integration. Qualifications 8 years of experience with Service Management (ITSM). ITIL 4 platform certification required. Experience with Active Directory, Identity Management, SCCM, DNS, Group Policy, Active Role Servers, Privileged Account Management, and MS Exchange (for Directory Services TTO). Understanding of mission islands, Trusted Thin Client, and enhanced VDI (for Desktop & Enclave Services TTO). Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree + 20 years of systems experience; or No degree + 24 years of Systems Administrator experience. Certification CE certification requirements can be fulfilled with either Microsoft OS or Cent OS/Red Hat OS CE certifications.
