Human Resources Assistant

Job Summary: At Energo, we drive success through passion, collaboration, and a goal-oriented mindset. We are seeking a positive, energetic, and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. Reporting directly to the Manager HR & AP, you will play a foundational role in supporting our HR administration, maintaining data integrity, and fostering a compliant, welcoming workplace across multiple business divisions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, testing, interviewing, hiring, and conducting onboarding sessions.
- Assist in keeping job descriptions up-to-date, accurate and compliant with relevant federal, state, and local laws for all positions.
- Assist with employment drug tests and results in personnel files.
- Assist employees to enroll in 401k and other benefits when they become eligible.
- Ensure all employment practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assist management on employee benefit programs.
- Assist with employee requests and concerns.
- Respond to external employment verifications requests.
- Ad hoc assignments
Position Requirements: Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar field.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent time management and meticulous attention to detail for managing sensitive files and records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) or applicant tracking software.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee data.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
