Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member

We're Hiring!

Paul McMurry - State Farm Agent Team Member is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. If you thrive in a supportive role and are eager to learn and grow within the insurance industry, we invite you to apply and become a valued member of our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Compensation: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

  • Our mission is to help people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams.
  • We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, College Planning, and Renters Insurance.
  • Our office is open 9:00-5:00.
  • I have been a State Farm agent since 2015.
  • I am a proud graduate of LSU Law Center, LSU Graduate School, and Rhodes College.
  • We currently have 4 team members at our agency.
