Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Recognizes and responds to changes in patient conditions, ensuring timely physician communication and appropriate actions. Provides specialized care to high-risk patients, including restraint and pain management, while adhering to safety and infection control policies. Maintains professional accountability by following policies, participating in ongoing education, and staying current with hospital standards. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, demonstrating respect, empathy, and professionalism. Contributes to performance improvement, evidence-based practice, and quality indicators, supporting unit and hospital initiatives. Delivers age-appropriate care for adult and geriatric populations, assessing needs and involving families in decision-making. Qualifications include: Active RN license in applicable states, current BLS certification, and adherence to safety and infection control standards.
