Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a seasoned Occupational Therapist. This full-time opportunity offers 40 hours per week, filling in for a leave of absence with an immediate start through December 1st. Work with diverse learners in a school-based environment, utilizing your expertise to foster student growth and independence.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Occupational Therapist license in California
Proven experience delivering OT services in school settings
Familiarity with IEPs and school documentation processes
Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to create engaging treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
Commitment to supporting students of varying abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy interventions and assessments for K-12 students
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans as part of a multidisciplinary team
Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights and documentation
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student access and participation
Maintain clear, accurate records and comply with all district and professional guidelines
