School Nurse Services Credential

CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENT: Current RN license issued in California. BSRN or BA/BS degree in health related field, and Health and Development or School Nurse Services credential. Current CPR/AED/First Aid cards (ARC/AHA).

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

• Copy of Transcript (Official or Un-Official)
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Credential Copy (Health and Development or School Nurse Services credential - detailed copy from CTC website showing document number and expiration date)
• Letter of Introduction
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two letters written within the last year)
• Other (RN License)
• Resume

COMMENTS AND OTHER INFORMATION:

Candidates who do not submit all of the required documents will not be contacted or considered in the selection process. Applications must be complete and accurate at time of submission. Selected applicants will be notified regarding time and place of interviews. Salary placement allows for up to fifteen (15) years of prior experience, provided the following conditions are met:

• The prior position was for at least 75% of the school year
• You were under contract during that time
• The school was WASC-accredited (or similarly accredited)
• You held a valid credential while employed at that institution
• We do not give experience for positions in the health care field.
