Description

• Deliver focused speech therapy interventions, addressing various aspects including communication, language proficiency, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing mechanisms.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to develop integrated care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families to enhance progress outside of clinical interactions.
• Provide occasional inpatient evaluations and treatment, ensuring a fluidity of care throughout the patient's therapeutic process.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those who are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of employment.
