Electron Beam Welder
GTAW WelderOperating Group Process & Industrial Products Job Description & Position Requirements
Will be posted as ad for position.
• Follows instructions contained in the work order and examines final product to confirm completion according to specification
• Set-up and complete jobs in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and process sheets welding components using Auto-Tig and Hand-Tig
• Check welds visually and dimensionally with measuring instruments for conformance to blueprints and specifications
• Organizes work and storage area for efficient workflow
• Performs cross sectioning and etching of weld samples
• Cross-train for testing and mechanical assembly tasks Essential Skills
• Must be able to lift, push, pull at least 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of arithmetic
• Basic computer skills
• Good hand and eye coordination Experience
• 1-year previous TIG welding experience or completion of an accredited welding program Minimum Education High School Diploma \nCompany Description
