RN - Registered Nurse - Surgical Services - OrthoSports

Position Overview Department: Perioperative Care, OrthoSports Same Day Surgery Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 3/12 hour shifts. 3 positions available: M-F, 9am-9pm Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham Benefits Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Must hold a BLS Provider credential, obtained within one month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Accepted providers include American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Must be a licensed Registered Nurse credentialed by the Alabama Board of Nursing, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
