Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, performing physical examinations and meticulously reviewing medical histories.
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting lab results and imaging studies.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons to formulate and implement bespoke surgical treatment plans.
• Provide critical intraoperative assistance, preparing operating rooms, ensuring patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments as needed.
• Administer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education.

Educational Requirements

A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Completion of clinical rotations with a predominant surgical focus is highly preferred.

Certifications

Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification. Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
