Role: Senior Project Manager – Mega Resort & Hospitality Development Location: North Houston, TX Compensation: $150-195k basic + excellent benefits package Position Overview We are seeking an elite Senior Project Manager to lead the ground-up construction of a landmark, multi-phase $500M+ hospitality, gaming, and entertainment resort in Texas. This massive, 685,000 sq. ft. development spans nearly 100 acres and includes a multi-story luxury hotel tower, extensive state-of-the-art gaming floors, dynamic food and beverage outlets, and multi-use event/conference spaces. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex, fast-tracked commercial hospitality or gaming projects from initial groundbreaking through to final handover and closeout. Core Project Scope & Operational Context 685,000+ sq. ft. ground-up resort development across a 95-acre master-planned site. A 360+ room luxury hotel tower, a 3,400+ unit high-spec gaming floor, a resort-style pool complex, fine dining/nightlife venues, and a 35,000 sq. ft. convention center/ballroom. Fast-tracked, multi-phased delivery, beginning with an immediate, fast-track temporary facility buildout, running concurrently with the deep foundation and structural erection of the permanent main resort tower. Key Responsibilities Establish robust site logistics, temporary utilities, and early-phase mobilization structures across a expansive project footprint. Oversee the rapid procurement, construction, and rapid commissioning of a fast-track temporary commercial facility to hit strict revenue-readiness dates. Manage major civil works, mass grading, deep foundation packages, and utility infrastructure over a massive multi-acre layout. Phase 2: Structural & Envelope Delivery Drive the schedule for a multi-story concrete/steel vertical tower erection, coordinating tightly with tower crane operations and complex structural engineering teams. Ensure strict quality control and weather-tightness milestones for complex facade, curtain wall, and building envelope systems. Coordinate high-end, intricate interior fit-outs involving specialized millwork, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) coordination, and lighting packages for casino floors, VIP lounges, and hospitality areas. Direct the integration and rigorous testing of critical, highly secure infrastructure networks—including specialized low-voltage, security, surveillance, and specialized facility management systems. Manage multi-discipline subcontractors and premium vendors to maintain flawless architectural finish standards across all front-of-house public spaces and back-of-house operational zones. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 10–15+ years of commercial construction management experience, with a heavy emphasis on ground-up hospitality, major resorts, or gaming/entertainment venues. Proven success managing projects exceeding $200M+ in single-project value. Knowledgeable of advanced scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6), BIM coordination, and complex MEP/low-voltage system integration.
