Salesforce Application Developer

Overview

As aSteampunk Salesforce Developer , you will work with Technical/Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into well‐architected solutions.This effort leverages Public Sector Foundation - Advanced (PSFA) and integrates systems using MuleSoft. You will develop, test, document andmaintainsolutions, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation using Salesforce declarative or programmatic development resources such as triggers, workflows, validations, approvals, Apex classes, Visualforce pages and Lightning components. Execute test plans to ensure quality delivery using test code and unit tests. You will follow coding standards andparticipatein code reviews during projects to ensureappropriate designpatterns are followed.

Contributions

• Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the SFDC platform based on industry best practices as well as business needs

• Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in SFDC application

• Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues

• Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholdersregardingstatus, technicalissuesand creative solutions

• Perform Salesforce administration (create accounts / profiles, defining fields, updating layouts, reports, dashboards etc.) and development

• Support Salesforce.com configuration tasks such as field/page updates, workflows, automated approvals

• Handlenumerousprojects/priorities using proven project management methodologies and sound development practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions

• Monitor Salesforce.com usage for compliance

• Maintain security for Salesforce.com data

• Interface with business analysts and technical staff andbe responsible fordelivering complete work products

• Implement App Exchange platforms

• Research integration issues and work closely with team members on operations and development staff

• Research and development of new Salesforce.com prototypes and applications

• Research and keep current on force.com technologies and communicate trends and future needs to leadership

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of applications

• Build client trust and respect,establishclient relationships, and develop rapport with client

• Participate and engage in all team meetings

• Document best practices and operational procedures

• Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

• 2+ years of experience with Salesforce development

• 4+ years of experience

• Experience with Public Sector Solutions (PSS) Salesforce Flows, and OmniStudio

• Functional knowledge of Salesforce.com data structure and understanding of how toleveragethe tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements

• Proven knowledge and practical application of Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs, and Web Services

• Eligible to obtain andmaintainand government security clearance ** **

• Salesforce Developer certification(s)

• Able and willing to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal supervision

• Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment (conference calls, Skype, face-to-face)

• Ability to design and deliver Salesforce solutions using ecosystem capabilities such as Public Sector Solutions, OmniStudio, or Agentforce to support complex government service delivery, digital workflows, and AI enabled service operations.

• Strong background implementing solutions on the Salesforce Platform using core capabilities such as Service Cloud to support case management, workflow automation, and enterprise service delivery.

• Ability to produce high quality technical documentation and analysis

• Take initiative to recommend process improvements anddemonstratecreative thinking

• Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to grasp concepts quickly

• Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills

• Knowledge and experience with Agile andDevSecOpsmethodologies

• Salesforce Developer certification is preferred

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $85,000 to $160,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
