Senior Systems Administrator This role is ideal for a highly motivated, senior‑level professional who will be responsible for provisioning, maintaining, patching, and securing both Windows and Linux‑based systems. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive software assessments. Provision virtual machines. Implement critical security configurations. Troubleshoot complex system issues. Ensure robust compliance with DoD security standards. Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or 5 years of additional relevant experience). 7–10 years of experience in systems administration, systems engineering, or a closely related role with progressively increasing responsibility. Active IAT level II or higher certification (or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 Baseline Certification). Experience provisioning and managing Virtual Machines (VMs). Advanced troubleshooting experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems. Experience patching systems and managing vulnerability remediation workflows. Professional experience conducting software assessments and evaluations. Knowledge of system registry configurations. Proven experience implementing and compliance‑testing with DISA STIGs, CIS Benchmarks, and NIST SP 800‑series security controls. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Active Secret clearance (required to start) and ability to maintain a DoD clearance. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience supporting DoD network and systems environments. Advanced technical or security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, MCSE, RHCSA/RHCE). Schedule & Location Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite (no travel required).
