Responsibilities Main communicator for Student Ministries Train and develop new communicators Develop and implement series and content for middle and high school students Program large group gatherings for Student Ministries Lead the process for creating a gathering that attracts seekers and fosters growth among devoted followers of Christ Develop and implement systems and processes to support gatherings with volunteer development Build meaningful relationships with students, leaders, parents, and attendees at the Birmingham campus Assist the Ministry Director and Lead Pastor with campus‑wide projects, events, and services as needed Pursue ongoing personal and leadership development Qualifications Proven ability to build and empower teams of volunteer communicators and student leaders Professionalism and relational intelligence to navigate a highly educated, affluent community with maturity and excellent parent communication Event execution and programming skills to collaborate with central teams and locally execute attractional large‑group gatherings and events Strong, engaging teaching skills with the potential for Sunday morning main stage communication Deep personal prayer life and confidence in spiritual direction, modeling a genuine heart for the Holy Spirit Why We Love This Opportunity Kensington Church offers a collaborative team environment for growing student ministry alongside other student pastors.
