Job Description

• Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and create tailored treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work in tandem with nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic goals, discharge procedures, and at-home exercise routines
• Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress as per facility standards and governmental regulations
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Mandatory state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional certifications in areas like neurology or geriatrics are welcome, but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is strongly preferred
