About the Position: First-level supervisory position accountable for coordinating and directing of the work of maintenance technicians. Employee supervision includes hire recommendations; training; work planning, assignments, and review; and performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline. Supervision at this level also requires these employees to have the knowledge and skills to perform and review the work overseen.The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) is seeking a qualified Transportation Infrastructure Maintenance Technician Team Lead to oversee daily roadway and bridge maintenance operations. This position is responsible for leading and training maintenance crews, coordinating work activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting efficient use of equipment and resources.
