Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Indoor/Outdoor Furniture Assembler to join our team as an individual contributor. This role involves assembling various types of indoor/outdoor furniture, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. The position requires frequent local travel, strong attention to detail, proficiency with hand and power tools, and a commitment to safety and craftsmanship. Opportunities for advancement include promotion to lead assembler.
Responsibilities
- Assemble single-piece and multi-piece indoor/outdoor furniture
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and technical manuals accurately
- Maintain quality control standards to ensure customer satisfaction
- Handle and maintain power and standard hand tools safely
- Manage inventory related to assembly projects
- Comply with safety protocols during assembly and travel
- Travel frequently to customer locations for on-site assembly
- Demonstrate patience and professionalism when interacting with customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in furniture assembly
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Physical stamina suitable for assembly tasks and travel demands
