Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail pharmacy is seeking a qualified Staff Pharmacist to provide on-site pharmacist coverage primarily on Fridays from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM in Hendersonville, NC. This per diem position offers a flexible schedule with potential additional days and vacation coverage as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and verify pharmacy technician work to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Handle incoming phone calls professionally and promptly
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and safety
• Provide patient counseling regarding medications, usage, and side effects
• Administer immunizations if certified and required

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid North Carolina pharmacist license is required
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
• Immunization certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Work Environment:

• Staff includes 1 pharmacist and 2 technicians
