Job Summary

The Accountant Assistant Intern will perform key accounting and clerical functions, ensuring compliance with accounting guidelines while supporting the accounting team. This temporary, seasonal role offers hands-on experience in areas such as invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, and month-end closing.
Location: Brea, CA (Onsite)

Duration: 3 months and start ASAP (Short-term, seasonal, temporary)

Hours: 20 OR 40 hours per week

Job Responsibilities

• Perform accounting and clerical functions to support accounting personnel.
  
• Verify, reconcile, and process invoices daily.
  
• Maintain payment and transaction records.
  
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  
• Conduct three-way invoice matching for accounts payable (AP).
  
• Organize and maintain accounting files and documents.
  

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently earned an AA or BS in Accounting.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks.
  
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
  
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  
• A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently.
  
• Must be able to work onsite in the Brea office, 20-40 hours per week.
  

Compensation

Pay: $20/hour.

Duration: 3 months (Short-term, seasonal).
