Job Description
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule

Variable start times: 1500 or 1900, with shifts lasting 12 hours.

Assignment Details

Contract length: Not specified. Guaranteed hours/week: facility is allowed to call off once per every two-week pay period.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC.
• Must possess a valid nursing license.
• Pendings licenses are not accepted.
• First-timers accepted.
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend.
• No on-call requirement.
• Floating between like units is not required.
• Restrictions on time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures.
