Engineering Technician I

Job Description Required Certifications: Cableway Certified Connector Certified Modular COAX Multi‑Pin Connector Fabricator and Inspector Connector Trained and Qualified with 40 hours OJT The likely hourly rate for this position is between $19.32 - $23.08. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Responsibilities Installs, maintains, repairs, overhauls, troubleshoots, modifies, constructs and tests electrical, electronic, and/or mechanical equipment and related devices. Applies technical knowledge of electronics principles in order to put equipment in operational condition and solve problems. Troubleshoots and corrects malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment. Runs tests, collects data, and may recommend component or circuit changes. May provide operation/maintenance instruction to customer personnel. Performs preventative maintenance. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. Participates in special projects as required. Requirements Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. 0+ years of experience. US citizenship required.
