Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver DoD Security Clearance in Fort Worth, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. - Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of business areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
- Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal, client, and applicable legal requirements, and report hazards, suspicious activity, and policy concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
