RN - ICU - Philadelphia, PA
Shift: Days | 3x12s | 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM | 36 Hrs/Week
Duration : 13 weeks

ICU Registered Nurses to provide care for ICU boarder patients located in the PACU unit. The primary patient population will include Trauma overflow patients; however, previous trauma experience is not required.

RNs may also float to:

Emergency Department for ICU holds
Other ICU or Stepdown units based on census and staffing needs

Unit operating hours are Monday 7:00 AM through Saturday 7:00 PM (No Sundays).

Responsibilities

Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes in condition
Provide individualized patient-centered care
Direct and supervise nursing support staff
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards

Requirements

Active PA RN License
BLS Certification Required
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Minimum 1 year ICU or related specialty experience preferred
BSN Preferred
