Registered Nurse (RN) - Corrections

Nursing Role – Corrections
Schedule - Shift: Days, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (includes 30-minute unpaid meal break) Weekends: Alternating weekends required
Requirements - Valid NY state nursing license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Roles & Responsibilities - Provide medication administration and manage controlled substances inventory. Review, prepare, and evaluate nursing intervention plans to ensure alignment with treatment plans. Implement infection control measures and engage in clinical and administrative reporting. Participate in staff training and contribute to medical treatment teams.
Compliance / Notes - Dress code: Business casual or scrubs. Free on-site parking available. Verify vaccine requirements with the facility before submittal.
