Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression. Schedule appointments accurately using electronic health record Verify patient insurance coverage and process medical billing and collections using health insurance knowledge and medical coding. Manage patient records with meticulous attention to confidentiality policies in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing information or directing calls appropriately. Assist with documentation review, data entry, and maintaining accurate medical records within systems. Support clinical staff by coordinating care plans and ensuring smooth clinic operations through clerical support and office management skills. Qualifications Proven experience (1yr minimum) in Dental administrative support or as a Dental receptionist in a clinical setting. Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Dentrix Knowledge of health insurance procedures, medical billing, coding, and Medicare processes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Familiarity with clinic workflows, medical terminology, and electronic health records management is preferred. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
