Continuous Improvement Manager Pay and Benefits Salary Range – $72,000 - $98,500 per year Competitive bonus programs Medical, Dental, Vision benefits available day 1 of employment Supplemental benefits available on day 30 of employment Eligible for 401(k) with a company match available on day 90 of employment Educational Support via tuition reimbursement and scholarship program Work Shift and Location 3156 Byrne Hollow Crossing, Cortland, NY 13045 Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm. This will vary based upon business needs and can/will include off shift hours and weekends as needed. Job Overview The Continuous Improvement Manager plays a key role in executing assigned Continuous Improvement Manager tasks. This includes managing and overseeing project initiatives for the facilities from inception to conclusion. Key Responsibilities Develop a strategic plan for improvements at the facility utilizing FMEA techniques for prioritization. Facilitate network Continuous Improvement initiatives and partner with Corporate Sponsor for leadership of the CI program. Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, training/workshops to drive cultural change through use of techniques such as Kaizen, 5’s, Visual Workplace, PDCA, Waste Hunting, SMED, OEE, Kanban, KPI’s, Policy Deployment, etc. Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing/business and assembly issues, material flow, project plans, production capacity, facility design and create process documentation. Lead Kaizen and Kata events for focused improvement in critical work areas and processes. Establish metrics to monitor financial savings as compared to established goals and targets. Develop and maintain annual value stream mapping efforts, CI plans, and calendars. Teach others to lead improvement efforts, including training on effective tools for successful project leadership. Participate in the design, install, and debug tooling and capital equipment as it relates to process improvement. Drive value stream mapping to define “As-Is Analysis” and the transition to Future State. Develop and conduct compliance audits, program evaluations and reviews to drive results with the fortitude to ensure change is permanent. Carry out advanced data collection and analysis for process mapping, develop budgets and cost analysis to determine project feasibility. Follow all Safety requirements to include, Housekeeping, LO/TO, Confined Space, PPE and engage in facility safety efforts. Ensure compliance with all OSHA, NYSDA, PMO, FDA, and assist in maintain SQF readiness, and HACCP. Min. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited University and/or 5+ years manufacturing and High School Diploma or equivalent. High proficiency in Microsoft 365 / Excel.
