Quality Control TechnicianLocation: Ogden, UTPay: $18.65/hourSmart Staffing is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support quality and food safety in a high-volume beverage manufacturing environment. This position focuses on laboratory testing, product sampling, and environmental monitoring to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety standards, and internal quality specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform microbiological testing and aseptic samplingTest raw materials, packaging components, and finished productsConduct pH checks and commercial sterility testingPerform environmental swabbing, air monitoring, and water samplingPrepare media and materials for microbial testingAccurately document test results and maintain recordsSupport quality investigations and daily lab operationsAdhere to GMP, Food Safety, Quality, and Safety proceduresQualificationsExperience in food, beverage, GMP, laboratory, or QA/QC preferredBackground in microbiology or food safety is a plusDegree in microbiology, food science, biology, chemistry, or related field preferredStrong attention to detail and documentation skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periodsSteel-toed shoes requiredScheduleRotating 3-3-4 schedule, 12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM.#INDSLC #J-18808-Ljbffr Smart Resources Group
