Wolfe & Cub Learning Center values professional development and encourages staff to contribute their expertise to enhance program quality and client outcomes.\nRole Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist located in Plymouth, MI. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children, using evidence-based techniques and individualized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing therapy plans, documenting progress notes, and maintaining accurate records in alignment with professional standards. The role involves collaborating with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support carryover of skills in home and educational settings, and participating in team meetings and consultations. The Speech Language Pathologist will also contribute to program development, provide education on communication strategies, and maintain professional licensure and continuing education as required.\nQualifications\n\n Demonstrated expertise in Speech Therapy, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of Speech and Language Disorders.\n Experience working with Communication Disorders, including expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language needs.\n Knowledge and clinical experience in managing Dysphagia and related swallowing disorders, where applicable.\n Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.\n Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist in Michigan and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or in progress.\n Strong documentation, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a caseload in an on-site setting.\n Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members.\n Experience working with pediatric populations in clinical, school, or private practice settings is highly beneficial.\n
