Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

The Production Associate is responsible for managing operations and the people associated with the safe manufacturing of metal E Rings. This role requires the use of standard measuring devices and gauges, as well as the ability to safely operate all manufacturing equipment involved in the process.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture metal E-Rings according to documentation and procedures.
• Safely operate Planish Press, Belt Sander, Roll Form Machines, Polish Equipment, and Hydraulic Presses to manufacture completed parts.
• Read and interpret work instructions.
• Communicate with others on work order status and completion of work.
• Perform assembly and inspection.
• Move around to different departments as needed.

Work Environment

• Production Associates work alongside other E Ring Associates, Manufacturing Leads, and Manufacturing Support. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager. Employees are required to stand, walk, and use hands to operate machines and computers, with specific vision abilities including close vision. Regular attendance and the ability to work cooperatively and professionally with others are expected.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Haven, CT.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
