About Our Client
Our client is a well-established food manufacturing company that specializes in the production and packaging of value-added food products for a diverse customer base. The organization has built a strong reputation for quality, consistency, and customer service while maintaining a stable and growing operation. The company offers a close-knit culture with long employee tenure, hands-on leadership, and a commitment to investing in both its people and facility. Following recent expansion, the organization is seeking an experienced maintenance leader to help support continued operational excellence and growth.
Job Description
- Lead daily maintenance operations in support of production goals
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, steam, and control system issues
- Maintain equipment including fillers, cappers, kettles, conveyors, pumps, compressors, boilers, and related processing systems
- Improve preventive maintenance programs, schedules, and maintenance procedures
- Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Support equipment installation, calibration, and process improvements
- Assist with basic PLC troubleshooting and VFD adjustments
- Ensure maintenance documentation is accurate and audit-ready
- Coordinate facility maintenance activities including plumbing, electrical, welding, and general repairs
- Partner with operations leadership to improve plant performance and reliability
- Provide guidance and mentorship to maintenance personnel and contractors
The Successful Applicant
- 3-5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- Previous leadership experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Lead Technician, or similar role
- Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting abilities across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Experience supporting older equipment and performing hands-on repairs
- Working knowledge of PLCs and VFDs
- Bilingual Spanish and English required
- Strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
