Includes a competitive Sales Incentive Plan based on volume and margin. Responsibilities Responsibly sell Johnson Controls service offerings to owners, primarily at the Director level. Promote the Johnson Controls value proposition to building owners by providing technical solutions and operational expertise. Build and manage long-term customer relationships and partnerships with target and managed accounts. Ensure customer satisfaction and position renewable service agreements as the foundation of managed account relationships. Conduct the sales process to cultivate and manage long-term relationships, qualifying and closing new sales opportunities. Obtain and close sales on a monthly basis and expand the depth and breadth of Johnson Controls offerings within an account. Sell and renew renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements, to both new and existing customers. Focus on improving existing buildings to help owners achieve business objectives. Manage ongoing opportunities with a focus on selling services and retrofits. Build partnering relationships with owners or owner representatives responsible for the decision-making process. Actively listen, probe, and identify concerns, understand the customer’s business, and speak their language. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or equivalent. Sales experience in HVAC or Building Automation Industry. Five (5) or more years of progressive field sales experience. At least two years successfully selling HVAC or building automation system service or projects. Commitment to integrity and quality in business.
