This position provides technical thought leadership both within the Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse team and in front of our business leaders. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Develop, maintain, and administer complex ETL processes using MS SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 (DTS and SSIS)Provide thought leadership on data and system architecture, system administration, schedule management, performance tuning, and expansionParticipate in ongoing DW/BI performance tuning activitiesProvide maintenance and 2nd-tier production support for a self-service business intelligence environmentDevelop, troubleshoot and fine tune existing and new reportsEvaluate and implement products and implement best-practices to enhance our BI/DW solutionProvide expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprise’s overall data warehouse architectureFacilitate the development of data integration efforts with the development teamDevelop, manage and maintain data models, including physical and logical models of the data warehouse, data marts, development and staging areas and source systems as necessary to meet new and changing business requirementsExpand the company’s use of data as a strategic enabler of corporate goals and objectivesEstablish methods and procedures for tracking data quality, completeness, redundancy and improvement; and processes for governing the identification, collection and use of corporate metadata to assure metadata is accurate and valid in the business intelligence environmentsBe able to define requirements, analyze data, design solutions, program, test, implement, and train end-users and fellow IT team members.Other duties as directed by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:B.S. in Computer Science or similar field, M.S. or MBA preferred7 years of experience developing, maintaining and administering MS SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 databases.7 years of experience with Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse products5 years of hands on ETL experience with complicated SSIS Package coding and maintenance.Business Objects XI/BI4.X experience desiredExperience with installation, configuration and stabilization of medium- to large-scale Business Intelligence implementations5 years of experience with Data Modeling tools such as Erwin.Experience working with and managing SAN technology preferredKnowledge of LDAP and Active Directory preferredADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Goal driven, highly motivated, with a desire to take the leadProven analytical and problem solving skillsStrong customer service skills and passion to work through obstacles to produce resultsDemonstrable technical thought leadership and influencing skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsAble to work in a projects-based, team environmentProficient in multi-tasking and managing multiple projects, able to meet target completion dates Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder OTHER BENEFITS: Client provides the opportunity to participate in a variety of outstanding benefits.
