General Manager

We're a beloved NYC cafe and bakery brand with five thriving locations across the city, known for our scratch-made pastries, exceptional coffee, and warm neighborhood energy. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced, hands-on Multi Location General Manager to lead operations across all five shops — someone who can walk into any location, feel the pulse of the business, and make it better.

This isn't a desk job. You'll be on your feet, in the shops, coaching teams, solving problems in real time, and making sure every customer who walks through our doors — at any location — gets the same great experience.

What You'll Do

• Oversee day-to-day operations across all 5 locations, ensuring consistency in quality, service, and culture
• Recruit, train, and mentor location managers and staff; build strong, motivated teams
• Manage labor, food cost, and P&L performance across the portfolio
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations at every site
• Drive operational efficiency — from ordering and inventory to scheduling and vendor relationships
• Step in to support locations directly during peak periods, staffing gaps, or special events
• Partner with ownership on growth initiatives, new openings, and continuous improvement
• Maintain high standards for product quality, cleanliness, and guest experience across the brand

What You Bring

• Minimum 4 years of management experience in hospitality (cafe, bakery, restaurant, or related food & beverage environment)
• Proven experience managing multiple locations or high-volume single locations
• Strong leadership skills — you build teams people want to work for
• Financial fluency: comfortable with P&L, labor cost control, and budgeting
• A calm, solutions-first mindset under pressure
• Must be mobile and able to travel regularly between all 5 NYC locations
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and occasional evenings
• Passion for great food, great coffee, and great hospitality
• Professional references required
