Job Description\n Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in West Allis, Wisconsin.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ED - Emergency Department\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/28/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2304\n $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS\n \n Opportunity:\n RN - ER\n Job Details:\n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM\n • Every other weekend rotation required\n • 1 holiday expectation per contract\n • No on-call responsibilities\n • Patient ratios of 1:3-4 for both day and night shifts\n • Average patient volume of 100-160 patients per day\n • Care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatric, with 5-8% pediatric population\n • Patient types include chest pain, dizziness, syncope, strokes, sepsis, orthopedic, respiratory distress/failure, STEMI, and behavioral health medical clearance\n • Minimum 2-5 years nursing experience required with at least 1 year of ED experience within the past year\n • First-time travelers accepted with 3+ years of ED experience\n • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS; TNCC preferred\n • Strong IV skills required\n • Must be proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation and monitoring\n • Must be knowledgeable in STEMI, CVA, and sepsis treatments as well as medication titration\n • Skills required include foley placement/management and NGT placement/management\n • EMR: EPIC experience required within the last 2 years\n • IV pumps: Alaris; Medication dispensing: Pyxis\n • Travelers may float based on facility needs, working as helping hands, taskers, sitters, or runners without a patient assignment\n • Scrub color: Any color, professional (no camo, denim, or hoodies)\n • Free parking available in east parking structure on the 3rd floor or higher\n Facility:\n This medical center is a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center with 277 hospital beds. The emergency department features 20 beds, 8 overflow beds, and 4 cardiac arrest chairs. The facility offers comprehensive support including 24/7 receptionist and HUC coverage, charge nurse support, respiratory therapy, hospitalist and PA coverage, and a flow nurse during peak hours.
