RN (PRN)

Wage: $45.00 per hour. Schedule: PRN – varies, when needed. No nights, no weekends, no holidays. Enjoy work/life balance! MTC is proud to operate the Los Angeles Job Corps Center in Los Angeles, CA where our staff provide quality services to our local youth. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to students as authorized by the medical provider and within scope for the state-specific nurse practice act. Supervise LPNs and LVNs to assure compliance with all state regulations and scope of practice. Provide basic health care to students including all entry requirements and immunizations. Monitor students with illness and inability to attend class. Treat and prevent minor injuries and illnesses, ensuring all medical clinical care is provided to students. Provide information and guidance for the promotion of good health and well-being of our students. Education and Experience Requirements Valid, unrestricted RN license in the state of employment. Experience working with youth in a paid or unpaid capacity is preferred. A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
