AMT | Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary: Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate patient care in a busy office environment. This role involves delivering psychosocial, physical, and general care tailored to patients' needs, while effectively communicating with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and office policies.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide direct patient care and assist with routine examinations and treatments across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and collaborate with healthcare team members as needed.
• Maintain a safe care environment that minimizes medical errors and promotes quality.
• Apply knowledge of growth and development principles to deliver age-appropriate care.

Education, Background, and Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program is required.
• Must hold Medical Assistant Certification valid in the state of Washington.
• Strong computer skills and typing accuracy are essential.
• Preferred experience includes urgent care, electronic medical records (EMR), HIPAA knowledge, and proficiency in taking patient vitals.
