Job Opportunity – Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room RN – Texas

Start Date: July 14, 2026

Location: Dallas, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM with rotating call coverage; 8-week assignment

Highlights:

• Work in a dedicated 2-room pediatric cardiovascular operating room specializing in open heart surgery for congenital heart patients
• Rotating call schedule that is primarily self-scheduling for optimal work-life balance
• Collaborative team environment with 4 surgical technologists and 5 registered nurses on day shift
• EMR system: Meditech
• Fast-growing pediatric cardiac center with new construction and expansion underway
• Close working relationships with pediatric cath lab, echo teams, and pre/post anesthesia unit teams

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas or ability to obtain
• Operating room experience with cardiac procedures required
• Pediatric CVOR experience strongly preferred
• CVOR scrub skills preferred but not mandatory
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• High-performance orientation with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
