Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Associate Immigration Attorney in the greater Cleveland area. The Associate Immigration Attorney will be responsible for managing a wide variety of cases with a focus on litigation in Immigration Court. Apart from removal defense practice, the caseload will include USCIS cases such as family-based adjustment of status, naturalization, immigrant and non-immigrant visas, and humanitarian cases (U Visas, VAWA, Asylum). The ideal candidate will be motivated and driven, adaptable, with a passion for immigration law, who thrives on working under pressure. Key responsibilities include conducting research, drafting legal documents, representing clients at hearings, and providing legal counsel. The attorney will also collaborate with colleagues to ensure that all client needs are met effectively and professionally.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Immigration Issues and Immigration Law
• Familiar with immigration court practice as well as USCIS and consular processes
• Experience in handling general Immigration Issues
• Membership in good standing with a state bar (preferably Ohio)
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for helping clients navigate complex legal processes
• Minimum 1 year of previous experience in immigration law required
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus, but not required
