Equiliem is seeking a travel nurse RN Palliative for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Palliative Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel 48hr, Day/Evening/Night rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and on call per unit need *Telemetry experience is NOT required Complete Description: Unit for patients (age 18 and up) with intensive symptom management needs at end of life. Good IV skills, wound care skills, compassion, ability to manage patients with complex needs and families in crisis. Astute assessment skills are mandatory to advocate for patients who often can no longer speak for themselves. The unit also cares for general medicine overflow. Experience with patient-controlled analgesia pumps or CHPN certification highly desired. Two years of recent palliative or acute med/surg experience and BLS from AHA required. Requirements: - NYS RN License - 2 years' experience of recent palliative or acute med surg experience - BLS from AHA - Experience with patient-controlled analgesia pumps or CHPN certification highly desired Skills: Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Move Two (2) years' experience in palliative or acute med/surg Required RN License (ONLY NY Licenses are accepted at this time) Required BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Required Experience with patient controlled analgesia pumps or CHON Certification Highly desired
