In this pivotal position, you'll develop and maintain critical financial reporting, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and play a key role in evaluating financial decisions that impact the companys growth and valuation. Your expertise will help transition financial responsibilities in-house and optimize reporting processes, making you an integral part of the companys success story.

Required Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Progressive experience in accounting and/or finance
• Strong understanding of financial statements, reporting, and accounting principles
• Experience with tax planning and working with CPA or external accounting firms
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex financial data for non-financial leaders
• Demonstrated discretion with confidential information
• Hands-on approach with the ability to build and improve financial processes
• CPA designation or extensive public accounting background
• Experience supporting valuation, ownership transition, or M&A initiatives
• Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, accountants, and outside advisors

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in privately held or owner-operated businesses
• Knowledge of legal and entity structure considerations
• Previous involvement in transitioning external financial responsibilities internally

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Progressive experience in a similar role, ideally within private or owner-operated companies
• CPA certification highly preferred

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work in a hands-on environment and support strategic growth initiatives
• Willingness to coordinate with legal and financial professionals on company structure and valuation matters
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
