HR Manager

Human Resources ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and continuously improve all human resources functions within a growing manufacturing organization. This position will partner with senior leadership and department managers to recruit qualified talent, strengthen employee engagement, maintain compliance with employment laws, and develop scalable HR systems and processes.Talent AcquisitionLead full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer preparation, and onboarding.Develop cost-effective recruiting strategies for manufacturing, technical, and professional positions.Manage staffing agency relationships and monitor recruiting metrics.Ensure hiring practices comply with applicable state and federal employment laws.Employee RelationsServe as the primary HR resource for employee concerns across multiple departments and shifts.Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actions.Coach managers on performance management, employee documentation, and corrective action procedures.Promote a respectful, engaged, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture.HR Operations and ComplianceAdminister employee benefits, leave programs, workers' compensation, HRIS systems, and personnel records.Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and organizational quality-system requirements.Maintain confidential HR records and support internal and external audit readiness.Leadership Partnership and Organizational DevelopmentPartner with leadership on workforce planning, compensation, employee retention, and organizational effectiveness.Support performance review processes and manager development initiatives.Identify opportunities to improve HR programs, processes, and employee engagement.Build scalable HR infrastructure to support continued organizational growth.Required Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Minimum of five years of human resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.Strong working knowledge of state and federal employment laws.Experience in recruiting, employee relations, workplace investigations, benefits administration, and HRIS management.Experience supporting multi-shift operations preferred.Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills preferred.Skills and QualificationsExperience developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures.Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office.Familiarity with regulated manufacturing or quality-system environments preferred.Excellent judgment, discretion, and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution abilities.High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.Ability to influence and advise leaders while balancing employee fairness with business objectives.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Decision-Making ResponsibilitiesRecommend hiring decisions and improvements to HR processes.Conduct employee investigations and recommend corrective actions.Advise management on employee relations and compliance matters.Escalate significant legal, regulatory, compensation, or strategic matters to senior leadership.Organizational ImpactThe Human Resources Manager will help improve recruiting effectiveness, employee retention, workforce capability, legal compliance, and organizational performance while serving as a trusted advisor to management.
