Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Job Description All candidates must be directly contracted by ASK Consulting on their payroll and cannot be subcontracted. We are unable to provide sponsorship at this moment Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Specialist Location: Charlotte, NC 28202 Duration: 12 Months Contract Pay Scale: $55 to 62.00/hr. Job Description: This position will assist with the volume of contracts in the IT Software, Labor, Hardware, or Telecom space. Successfully lead, execute, and manage sourcing category initiatives and activities. Prior experience working closely with external suppliers/partners, including negotiations, RFI and RFP development, contract negotiations, and contract development. Experience with standardizing specifications; rationalizing the supply base, reducing consumption, and lowering the total cost of ownership. Ability to manage multiple sourcing efforts with competing deadlines. Experience leading formal requirement reviews to gather business requirements and develop appropriate supplier-specific sourcing strategies.
